Camp Noel - Room Rates





CAMP NOEL ROOM TARIFF (CPAI = Breakfast Included)

Season (15th Jan 2010 to May 31st 2010)

Deluxe cottage with two bedrooms : Rs.10350.
Deluxe cottage with One bedroom : Rs.5175 .
Deluxe club house room : Rs.4600.
Std clubhouse room : Rs.4025.


Off Season (June 1st 2010 to Aug 31st 2010)

Deluxe cottage with two bedrooms : Rs.9200/- Net.
Deluxe cottage with One bedroom : Rs.4600/- Net.
Deluxe club house room : Rs.4025/- Net.
Std clubhouse room : Rs.3450/- Net.

Season (Sept 1st 2010 to May 31st 2011)

Deluxe cottage with two bedrooms : Rs.13800.
Deluxe cottage with One bedroom : Rs.6900.
Deluxe club house room : Rs.5750.
Std clubhouse room : Rs.5175.


MAPAI Rate = Breakfast and Lunch or Dinner Included
APAI Rate = Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included

For single occupancy please calculate MAPAI = CPAI + Rs. 300 (Lunch or Dinner)
APAI = CPAI + Rs. 600 (Lunch& Dinner)

During the peak period of 15th December 2010 to 15th Jan 2011, a 25% rate increase.
For the Xmas Eve (24th December) there will be 50% rate increase.
For the New Year Eve (31st December), there will be 50% rate increase.

Cancellation Policy:
1. Cacellation 7 days prior to arrival. Full refund of deposit.
2. Cancellation between 6 and 3 days of arrival. 50% of deposit will be refunded.
3. Cancellation within 2 days of arrival. No refund of deposit.

Please request for rates for Group Package for 10 pax or more.
Rs.500-00 extra will be charged for extra bed.
Children up to 5 years of age will not be charged extra.
Children between 5 and 12 years of age will be charged @ Rs.1000 extra.
For confirmed reservation please remit 50% of the estimated cost as advance.
Check in/out -24 Hrs. Since it is Forest area check in after 5-30 PM not encouraged.
GUIDED TREKKING, NIGHT SAFARI,CAMP FIRE DINNER/DISCO etc ON REQUEST.
All our rates are inclusive of Break Fast. Lunch or Dinner charged @ Rs.300-00.
For groups Lunch & Dinner will be served Buffet style.

Please Note:
Camp Noel is a secluded mountain resort near a remote village, 36 kms away from Munnar Town. It may take 1hr 30mnts drive on an average to reach the resort from Munnar. The first 30 kms drive is scenic crossing Mattuppetti & Kundale Dam and through Kodaikkanal Highway. The last 6 kms drive to the resort is very bumpy through Forest track and SUVs are recommended. If the customer is driving in his own sedan, we shall arrange safe parking of his vehicle at TOP STATION and shall transfer the guests at resort vehicle. Resort vehicle is available for sight seeing etc, at a nominal charge of Rs.10/per running km without any waiting charges.

    Camp Noel: More Camp than Hotel

    They say that it is a 3-star hotel. When I hear the word hotel, I expect at least a modicum of comfort. I expect decent food. I expect some service. I expect that there would be at least 7-8 people running the hotel.

    Not only does getting to Camp Noel involve an annoying and bone-cracking ride, but it also is not worth it once you reach there. The food we ate (or rather tried to eat) smelled of Kerosene, the light went off and the generator took almost an hour to start, and the service sucked big time. The waiters are rude and the manager acted like a full-blown goonda.

    The eating hall looks like a modified Dhabaa, room service is non-existent. They didn’t provide enough blanket for two people, and when we asked for one more blanket they said it would cost us 100 bucks per day! And all this at a time when the place was half empty. Wonder what happens when it fills up! Probably it never does. I’m never gonna go back to this hellhole.
